BBL (BroadBand Light) facial rejuvenation reduces the appearance of skin damage, taking years off the appearance of your complexion. The advanced laser treatment sends light energy through pigment-containing cells, destroying unwanted pigmentation.
Facial rejuvenation laser treatment is customized to most effectively accommodate your skin’s current condition and achieve your desired results.
BBL facial rejuvenation therapy effectively treats:
The result is more even skin tone and texture and an overall improvement in the skin’s firmness and appearance. BBL can treat most signs of aging on the face, neck, chest, hands and other areas of damaged skin.

How does BBL work?
How can BBL repair so many issues with a single treatment? Well, most skin issues are visible in the top layers of skin, but they begin far below the surface. BBL targets those deeper layers to disrupt pigmentation, encourage new cell growth and even kill hair at the root to prevent regrowth.
BBL uses cutting-edge laser technology to target issues with heat and light energy. The energy destroys pigment in cells to help fade discolorations and stimulates collagen growth for a more plump, youthful firmness that decreases the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
Since BBL is non-invasive and non-ablative (meaning it isn’t going to burn and peel) it has become a very popular option for anti-aging treatment and skin rejuvenation. It has been proven safe and is even an FDA-cleared option for repairing sun damage.
By stimulating new cell growth and processes under the skin, BBL encourages the skin to repair itself for a more even tone and a balanced complexion. Unlike more invasive facial resurfacing treatments, BBL treatment is relatively painless with no recovery time or downtime. Treatments can take just a few minutes in a provider’s office depending on the specific issues, the area being treated ant the patient’s goals.
Patients will need a personal consultation and skin assessment to determine if they are a good candidate for successful BBL treatment.
Meet Alicia Crane, Trained BBL Technician
In her five years as a nurse practitioner at Coyle Institute, Alicia Crane has helped thousands of women address their concerns about aging and uneven skin through effective BBL laser therapies.
At Coyle Institute, BBL is used to treat everything from sun damage, redness, rosacea and acne to hair removal and even skin tightening with SkinTyte. Crane is BBL trained through Sciton, one of the leading innovators in medical BBL technologies.
In Pensacola, sun damage is the most common issue, for both men and women. Sunspots, freckles, uneven pigment and rough texture can be the result of long days at the beach, but people often underestimate the impact of year-round, everyday exposure, Crane said.
BBL treatment on the backs of hands is one of the most impressive treatments when it comes to antiaging.
“If we do their hands, they often say, “I love my hands the most out of everything!” she said.
If you want your results to last, Crane advises using sunscreen every day, even if you think you are not going to be outdoors and won’t need it. A significant number of people have more issues on the left side than the right because they don’t notice how much sun they are getting while driving, for example.
